Project Description

Modern Canadian

For this Canadian style home where the owners wanted to update and minimalize the front of the property, the design team implemented the principal of symmetry to bring out the beautiful architecture of the site. In order to highlight the main entrance of the home, a majestic, straight walkway, bordered by well-structured plants was suggested. The choice of smoother, neutral and more modern materials brings a new image and renews the nobility and prestige of the field stone. The pergola giving access to the rear of the propery was redone in Trex, using a more contemporary and modern style. Even the choice of simple, classic vegetation blends well with the ancestral qualities of this beautiful, traditional home.

With the goal of transforming their entire property, the clients also updated the windows, roof, doors and trim, offering a very successful modernisation!
