Simple and chic design
In the design process we proposed to soften the color of the woodwork of the residence by harmonizing in to the color of the mortar and paving stones.
New plantings done with soft colors and soft textures enhance the garden experience in any season and are prone to relaxation.
Protection of mature trees
The client also wanted to protect mature trees as much as possible. A rock wall has been constructed to preserve the integrity of the existing mature trees along the driveway. This durable solution, less invasive than a wall of blocks, enhances the natural character of the site and gives some status to the vehicular entrance.
Universal access
In the concept, we had to consider the reduced mobility of the owner, so everything was laid on the ground without steps. The new, spacious and attractive rotating entrance allows our wheelchair user easy access and movement with their adapted vehicle and / or valet service.
Main elements found in the landscape
- A driveway for cars lined with mature trees.
- A practical roundabout parking at the front of the house with an emphasis on the main door marked by the pavement.
- A winding sidewalk leading from the car entrance to the backyard in modular pavers.
- A versatile dining area that can accommodate the whole family. A vegetable garden is located near the dining area.
- • A terrace to enjoy the rectangular pool that harmonizes with the classic style of the house.
